GLOBE Academy is an educational institute specialized in logistics and Maritime studies that delivers world level theoretical and practical training, and related professional services.
Our aim is to equip Saudi talents with relevant skills for maritime and logistics employment. We also aim to develop knowledge and competencies through training programs to prepare our students to job market.
GLOBE Group’s Quality Management System has been certified for the first time in 2003. Then according to DIN EN 9001:2008 and DIN EN 9001:2015 since September 2018. In 2021, ISO 45001:2018 was added. These external audits of service processes, equipment and installations of GLOBE Group are periodically assessed by internationally certified auditors.
GLOBE Group ensures proper knowledge transfer through various training programs for our managers, office staff, operators and drivers. Therefore, we developed a training program composed by adjustable and customizable training modules of the specifically needed contents. In 2018, we launched our BBS (Behavior Based Safety) campaign to improve safety behavior at work and outside.
In 2014, GLOBE Logistics performed the Gulf SQAS pilot audit for the first time and it was renewed recently in May 2018.
Gulf SQAS (sustainability Quality Assessment System) is an audit system developed under the sponsorship of the GPCA (Gulf Petrochemical Association) for logistics companies to be able to assess their quality and safety systems on a benchmark able level.
